It is your responsibility as the Hirer to read and understand these Terms and Conditions of Hire PRIOR to making a booking. Any person/organization hiring our equipment is responsible/liable for any damage or injuries occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. Persons using the equipment/other items do so at their own risk. These guidelines are for the safety of all persons using our equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to.

LOGU Playland cannot accept responsibility for any damage or injury to anyone using the equipment however caused.

How to make a booking?

For Bookings

For bookings, you can book directly and pay directly from our page. You can also contact us for booking.

To reserve the requested date, we need a $100 deposit, a signed contract, and acknowledgement/acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and Rental Rules.

The payment deadline for the outstanding balance is 1 to 3 days before your event.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payments through After pay, cash, and online banking.

How many hours do you need for set up and pack up?

For set up and pack up

Please allow 45-60 minutes(depending on the package) before the event for LOGU Playland to set up the equipment, and 30-45 minutes after the event for us to take down and remove the equipment.

How do you refund my bond?

To refund the bond

Your deposit also serves as a “security bond”. If the equipment is returned in good condition, the deposit will be fully reimbursed within 1-3 days.

How long is the rental period?

The rental period

Rental period is 6 hours, every additional hour will be $25 and depends on availability.

Hygiene and cleaning processes

For hygiene and cleaning processes

All our toys and equipment are cleaned and sanitized after each event and wiped down prior to the next event. Each ball pit balls are properly washed before use.

Do you set up outdoor?

For Outdoor

Our play area mobile rentals can get hot if directly exposed to the sun. Please plan to have some shade or canopy for outdoor events. Please have a backup indoor location or canopy in case it rains. The safety of children is our top priority, so we won’t set up a playground in the rain. If our equipment gets wet, your security bond will be lost.

Also, we will not set up if it is stormy or if there are winds exceeding 24 km/h.

Do you travel outside your service area?

Outside Auckland

We travel outside Auckland depending on the package that you want to hire. For bookings, please contact us. We are happy to answer your questions.

What if I cancel my bookings?

For cancellation

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call or message us as soon as possible.

If you make a cancellation more than 30 days, LOGU Playland reserves the right to deduct 20% of your deposit.

Your deposit will be forfeited if you cancel less than 30 days prior to the event, however we will apply your deposit to a different date of your choice depends on availability.

If you are hosting an outdoor event and if there will be unforeseen circumstances such as rain, stormy or if there are winds exceeding 24km/h we will apply your deposit to a different date of your choice depends on availability. We advise finding an indoor venue for winter months if possible.

Circumstances beyond our control

For Outdoor

Traffic & Weather, We will endeavour to arrive and set up on time. Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (such as traffic congestion, adverse weather, etc.) cannot be held by LOGU Playland.

If there is bad weather on the day, like a flood that makes travel unsafe, we have the right to cancel the booking. In this case we can reschedule your bookings depending on the availability.

Venue Terms

For Venue

The Hirer must check the site measurements for the necessary package and ensure that there is enough space around the play equipment. If the venue site doesn’t have enough space for the package you ordered, we can remove certain items at our discretion for health and safety reasons. Despite this, the equipment will still be charged to you.

It’s important to have a flat surface that’s free of dirt, debris, and pet poop. The grass area for outdoor setups must have actual grass, not dirt.

It is the Hirer’s duty to make sure that the venue is easy to access for unloading and loading equipment. LOGU Playland must be made aware of any limitations (such as lack of parking, stairs, narrow doorways, etc.) before the event. Failure to do so may result in a delay in setting up, an additional fee being payable by the Hirer, or cancellation by LOGU Playland.

Once unloaded and set up, the hired equipment will only be set up in one location as agreed upon arrival. 

Pick up, drop off and overnight terms

For pick up, return and overnight terms

For Pick up and Return, All equipment must be collected at the arranged time if you do not
turn up at this time then your booking may be cancelled, and deposit will not be refund. The
equipment must also be returned at the arranged time. Failure to do so will result in a charge
of $50 per hour. If any issue you must contact us.
Overnight, To prevent theft, our equipment that is kept overnight must be locked away. A full
replacement charge will be incurred for any missing items. This includes any accessories that
accompany the equipment, such as blowers, extension leads, mats, etc.

Stolen, damage and dirty equipment

For stolen, damage and dirty equipment

Dirty and Stolen, We will ensure that all of our equipment is delivered in a clean and sanitary state. Should there be significant dirt or staining, and are filled with food, drink, confetti, popped balloons, sweets & wrappers upon collection there will be a $50 cleaning fee deducted from your bond.    To receive a full refund, equipment must be collected clean and undamaged. The deposit will not be returned upon collection if there is any damage or loss of equipment, even if it is minimal. Equipment will be brought back to our depot and an assessment will be carried out to determine the cost of repairing or replacing it. If the equipment is damaged or lost, you will be required to pay the entire price for the brand-new equipment within 7 days of the date of hire. Failure to pay as per the invoice sent will result in legal action and all costs will be passed on to the hirer. 

 

Ball pit balls, Balls from the ball pit must be within the limits of the ball pool when collected. Failure to do so will result in a $20 deposit being forfeited.

 

Please ensure that the equipment hired is not scattered around the venue. To avoid spending time searching for items when we arrive to collect them, it’s important to collect and place equipment back in the set-up area. This will also save you time if you have a set time to leave a venue.

 

Only LOGU Playland staff are authorized to collect the Soft Play, Play Equipment, and Bouncy Castle(s) inflatables and equipment. The equipment should not be given to anyone other than our staff under any circumstances. If you are unsure about any staff member collecting, please contact the owner on the telephone number provided.
